Measurement of the angle α at BABAR
We present recent measurements of the CKM angle α using data collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy ee collider at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, operating at the Υ (4S) resonance. We present constraints on α from B → ππ, B → ρρ and B → ρπ decays.
متن کاملAngle of Arrival Detection with Fifth Order Phase Operators
In this paper, a fifth order propagator operators are proposed for estimating the Angles Of Arrival (AOA) of narrowband electromagnetic waves impinging on antenna array when its number of sensors is larger than the number of radiating sources. The array response matrix is partitioned into five linearly dependent phases to construct the noise projector using five different propagators from non d...
متن کاملNew Detection of Voltage Sag Based on Phase Angle Analysis
Voltage sag compensator is very important in power quality. Its performance also depends on the types of sag detection techniques used. Sag detection technique determines the dynamic performance of a voltage-sag compensator. Many techniques have been introduced to measure and to detect voltage sag, such as RMS-Value Evaluation and Peak-Value Evaluation. Unfortunately, most of the techniques req...
متن کاملDetection of Contact Binaries Using Sparse High Phase Angle Lightcurves
We show that candidate contact binary asteroids can be efficiently identified from sparsely sampled photometry taken at phase angles α > 60◦. At high phase angle, close/contact binary systems produce distinctive lightcurves that spend most of the time at maximum or minimum (typically >1mag apart) brightness with relatively fast transitions between the two. This means that a few (∼5) sparse obse...
متن کاملIslanding Detection and Frequency Circuit Measurement by Power Distribution Relation Depending on the Angle
This paper presents a new islanding detection method based on the difference of the power transfer angle between the distributed generation and local load. After islanding, current id and iq will be changed by adding the variation to d_q transformation block of current. This makes voltage and frequency disturbance and therefore islanding is recognized. Active islanding detection method usually ...
